Description
The total lunar eclipse in May 2022 was clearly visible over the Midwest US for the entire duration. This composite image shows actual eclipse images I captured with a DSLR mounted on an Orion EQ-3 equatorial which cancels the earth's movement and allows longer exposure times for clearer images. The Kauffman Center for Performing Arts is in the foreground and was captured the previous night. The path of the moon over the building is very accurate to where the moon was during each phase. Moon images captured May 15 and 16th, 2022.
